Verdict

HERONORD remains a maiden though last month’s near miss at this track suggests he can win a race. He was behind Dunbar on that occasion but Dai Rees’ inmate was disappointing when trying to follow up that success at Worcester. Shareef Star is very much a summer jumper having picked up prizes at Worcester and Fontwell around this time last year but Boston Joe is yet to show the promise he exhibited between the flags and the tongue-strap didn’t appear to make much difference on his seasonal reappearance.
