It's a year since Hansupfordetroit last ran over fences and he's looking a little long in the tooth. Copper Birch won over 3m here on his return to action and followed up over 2m3f in a conditionals’ race at Hereford under Cian Maher. Unpenalised, his rider's 10lb claim will again be a plus and he'll make a bold bid to complete the hat-trick. TWENTY EIGHT GUNS was value for more than his winning margin here 12 days ago as he idled in front so an extra 6lb may not inconvenience him. Michael Scudamore's improving six-year-old gets the nod ahead of fellow previous course winners Clubs Are Trumps, Bredon Hill Lad and Supreme Bob. Golden Milan is very well handicapped nowadays but appears to have fallen out of love with racing.
