Verdict
Charlie's Angel is given the vote here with Shoveontommy and Abbeyknock Boy rated as the main dangers. The selection still has a bit to prove but she ran her best race yet when fifth behind Longstone Boy at Leicester last time in a more competitive race than this. That was a decent effort and if she can improve again then this lightly-raced mare should be the one to be on. Abbeyknock Boy has had plenty of chances and he has yet to translate his hurdling form to this sphere. However, he has a positive jockey booking here in Polly Gundry and he could go well in this weak affair. Shoveontommy is an interesting newcomer who should be noted in the market, a comment that would also apply to Lord Euro. But Charlie's Angel looks to have the most solid claims and she is taken to score.
