        Verdict

        Melrose Place has shown a modicum of ability on each start despite being beaten but he should get off the mark in this moderate affair, his fifth last time out behind Goodwood Prince would be good enough to win. Officer's Pink is another to consider he was a good second behind Gallivant who has won again since on only his second run and he rates the main danger. Avesa is from a yard which has carried them with it's two year olds and he is worth a look in the market. Hey Presto showed improved form last time out when fourth but will need to improve again to score here.
