        Verdict

        This looks a tricky maiden with most of them showing plenty of ability as juveniles, but we will just side with the consistent Impromptu, Spriggan and Genki may provide most danger. The selection earned a rating of 75 in his first year following some solid maiden efforts. He ran right up to that mark when second in a nursery at Haydock last September. Fitness shouldn't be a problem with this yard and a big run can be expected. Spriggan showed plenty of promise in a Goodwood maiden in august and is open to plenty of improvement. Meanwhile Genki chased home the 71 rated Vitznau at Windsor in October and is another lightly raced type who should progress. Astroangel is not easy to dismiss on the pick of her form and Welsh Auction may be better than he has shown so far, however Impromptu has the best overall form and gets our vote.
