Verdict

JO'BURG is given the strong vote to land the finale at the expense of Confide In Me and Mick is Back. The selection won well at Newmarket before finishing an eye catching second off a four pound higher mark thereafter. Although he has top weight to carry his form looks superior to his rivals and if reproducing his best from he is sure to go close once again. Confide In Me caught the eye when second at Yarmouth on his seasonal reappearance. That was a personal best effort to date and he warrants respect off only a three pound higher mark. Mick is Back has plenty of experience to his name and looks a little exposed at present. That said he did run well to finish a decent second to Heroes at Brighton last time out so any market support should be noted. But for the winner we return to Jo'burg.
