Verdict

The finish of this race should only involve Polinamix and Treasury Counsel with the latter taken to take the money home. Safari Adventures may just about prove best of the rest but he has plenty to find with the leading protagonists. Polinamix has run two sound races over fences, playing the bridesmaid to runners from the Nicholls yard on both occasions. The form of his defeat to Noland was given a boost when the third ran well at Exeter on Sunday but Rustarix was no match for the Henderson trained Classic Fiddle which should give the Lambourn trainer a line on Polinamix. Treasury Counsel got no further than the second on his chase debut at Kempton in what looked like a decent race. He was progressive over hurdles and should make his mark over fences in due course. It's hard to be confident given his early blunder and subsequent absence but his yard continues in good form and Treasury Counsel can get it right this time.
