In depth

Verdict

Tanzanite Dawn can complete a hat-trick at the expense of Aqua Pura, Ridjit and Madison Avenue. The ground is sure to be testing at the Kent track, and that will not be a problem for Tanzanite Dawn who has been a revelation since joining Simon Earle from Andy Turnell. She bolted up over shorter here on her return to action at the start of the year, and then defied a 13lb rise in style at Towcester. That was over 20 furlongs at the stiffest track in the country, so today's extended two-and-three-quarter mile journey will hold no fears for her, and with Gerald Tumelty able to take a valuable 5lb off her back, she is very much the one to beat. Aqua Pura was a convincing winner in selling company here on his return to action in December, but was tailed off when pulled at Lingfield last time so is worth taking on, while Ridjit is still a maiden, and was beaten over fences last time. Lyrical Lily will get every assistance in the saddle from Daryl Jacob and can go well off her low weight, but the one that they all have to beat is Tanzanite Dawn.
