Verdict
NATIVE BOB looked all over the winner before falling at the last in a hunter chase at Huntingdon last month and he can gain compensation for that effort today with the main dangers looking to be Fort View and Behind The Scenes. The last mentioned did not show much ability in Ireland but made a winning start in a point-to-point for new connections and the change of stable may have brought about improvement in him so he has to be respected. Alan Hill's Bynack Mhor is another that has gone better in points of late than in rules form and he has to be considered as does Spartan Place, who has won three times between the flags since being pulled up on his most recent start over regulation fences. Divine Intavention looks booked for a place at best and of more interest may be Polly Gundry's Fort View, who has won his last two starts in points and comes from a yard that does well with their runners in this grade. Preference though is for Native Bob, who can make amends for his last fence fall at Huntingdon last time.
