Verdict
Oscar Papa made a bad error on his chasing bow at Newbury and was quickly pulled up. He should be capable of better in time while Cabinet Minister will be all the better for his fourth at Exeter and is lightly-raced for his age. Winning pointer Betavix could be interesting now tackling fences but Lawney Hill also saddles Genuine Pearl, who was a decent performer in bumpers in Ireland in his earlier days and hasn't many miles on the clock. Emmaslegend won a mares' hurdle at Ascot last month and gets 7lb from her rivals but we'll take a chance on the fitness of SOIR D'ESTRUVAL. Related to winning chasers in France, he wasn't disgraced in a couple of starts over hurdles for Alan King last season and will be suited by this big step up in trip.
