In depth
Verdict
RENARD D'IRLANDE was still in touch when hampered and unseating his rider in what turned out to be a decent novice event at Bangor in December. Venetia Williams' French import had shown promise in his first two starts over timber and gets a tentative vote here, though O Malley's Oscar could improve for the drop in distance having run well for a long way over 2m7f here two weeks ago. Get Ready To Go finished ahead of Airmen's Friend in a Newbury bumper in December and looks to be improving with experience over hurdles. He may be the pick of the remainder ahead of winning pointer Giant O Murchu.
