Verdict
Global Strategy has done all of his winning on Southwell's Fibresand but is well treated for his return to turf and Rae Guest's gelding may be worth chancing with the main threats looking to be Sand Repeal and Sendinpost. The last mentioned, a half-sister to prolific winner Sindintank, looked one to keep on the right side of when successful at Windsor last July but has disappointed since then so looks best watched at present. Top weight Gallileo Figaro has more to do than when winning at Newcastle last time, while Madiba has claims of reversing running with Himba but may not be good enough to trouble the judge. Treason Trial is on a fair mark but is hard to win with and of more interest may be the consistent Sand Repeal. Global Strategy is potentially well treated though and he is preferred.
