Verdict
The Jolly Spoofer impressed when winning on his chasing debut however conceding 6lbs and more to some interesting rivals could be tough and so we will side with MOUNT OSCAR whose form reads well. Two starts over fences for the selection have not elicited a win however the form of his recent second behind Hold Em at Huntingdon reads very well. He was a decent hurdler without being out of the ordinary but he already looks like making up into a better fencer and he is taken to win today with the step back in trip not a problem. Amigayle is very consistent and should not be underestimated as the only female in the line-up, whilst Sound Accord represents a stable going well and his recent second was a good start to his chasing career; he looks the biggest danger. Rustarix has had enough chances to break his duck, whilst Turbulance is a course winner over hurdles and the drop back in trip looks a good move having never got competitive behind Wichita Lineman last time. An open affair, with narrow preference for Mount Oscar.
