Verdict
In a tricky race, Blue Java is selected ahead of Idle Power and Fiefdom. Ok, some thumbnail impressions for you. Cape Of Luck holds a chance based on his course and distance win of June 2006. Mujood, who is also a course and distance scorer, is back to a Goodwood six-furlong winning mark from May. Idle Power has been threatening to win a race of this nature for a while now, and is still weighted to do so. Fiefdom now races from a 2006 winning mark and comes here in decent heart. Scarlet Flyer is weighted to be competitive for a place if at his best but, based on Goodwood form from May, the generally consistent Blue Java is weighted to get the better of him today. Another of these runners that is on a winning mark, Blue Java might be the one to get the best of things today and, accordingly, is the selection.
