In depth
Verdict
In what is, overall, a modest finale, Maggie Mathias is taken to score from Phardessa and High Life. The selection did the job well enough at Taunton last time and, with the opposition looking largely modest, she can score again. Much as Phardessa was cheaply acquired, she looks a bargain based on her Ayr debut win last season and can go well, while Alan King's High Life has shown promise and might prove best of the rest. King also runs Cee Cee Rider, while Paul Webber's Optic should be given some thought. Overall, though, Maggie Mathias is taken to defy her penalty and score.
