Verdict
Shaunas Vision should go off a short priced favourite in this fillies¿ handicap but we will take a chance on Sovietta with Captain Magaret, Sabbiosa and Ma¿am all ones to note. Sovietta comes here on the back of an unsuccessful, hurdling-campaign but she will be fit from this and if she still retains the ability she showed in winning at Bath in heavy ground last May she could reward backers at a decent price. That win was in heavy ground so she should not be too inconvenienced by any cut in the ground today. Shaunas Vision won a handicap at Lingfield last week and is likely to start favourite on that basis but that was not a truly run race and she was winning that day for the first time in 23 starts. She is readily opposed on this basis. Sabbiosa represents the John Dunlop-stable and she won a handicap at Bath last April, she disappointed following that but she looks the sort to appreciate this trip and is well weighted. Captain Margaret runs off top-weight under Jimmy Quinn and is looking to follow up her recent Lingfield win. However, all her wins have come on the all-weather and she may have too much to do at these weights. So we return to Sovietta who could reward backers at a potentially decent price.
