Verdict

OPEN HEARTED has to concede weight all round but looks capable of doing so. Nicky Henderson's charge produced a career-best performance when impressively outpointing Ile De Re at Doncaster, form that has been franked by the winner's equally convincing success at Huntingdon over Cry Of Freedom. The extra yardage here looks well within his capabilities. Likeable Rogue makes his debut for Paul Nicholls but the son of Old Vic hasn't been seen for over a year and the market should be carefully monitored on his first run for the champion trainer. Knight Flight, Marble Walk and Be All Man have all shown enough ability in similar company to warrant consideration if the likely favourite fails to produce his best.
