Verdict

MISTY DANCER would be an apt winner in a race sponsored by The Platinum And Lace Bar Gentlemens Club and after a solid third to Soulard at Ascot that is entirely possible; Moulin De La Croix and Milesian King may rate as the biggest dangers. Venetia Williams' gelding looks handicapped to win race off a mark of 110 and although he hasn't won since June 2007 a bold run is anticipated. Green Gamble is another well-handicapped runner but he has stamina issues, so a bigger threat could be Orfeo Conti despite failing to finish in his last two runs. On his day he can win a race like this and with the ground in his favour he should run a solid race. River Indus is a course and distance winner and has run well on his last two starts, Moulin De La Croix should appreciate this drop in grade and better ground, whilst Vial De Kerdec is respected on his return to action despite a lofty enough looking mark. Morestead and Maximix are both course winners, as is Milesian King who should come on for his latest run at Wetherby and he looks a major player if the ground stays on the fast side. With the hunter-chaser Mustangsallyrally not discounted either this looks competitive, however we will side with Misty Dancer.
