Verdict
Finistere has always looked a chaser in the making so no surprise to see his attentions turned to fences after just four runs over hurdles for Dan Skelton. He revealed plenty of ability over the smaller obstacles and may well outclass this field but HELFORD RIVER delivered a sound effort to oblige in a handicap on chasing debut last month and receives 24lb from the topweight. He is just preferred with that experience to call upon. College Oak tackles fences for the first time and is not ruled out but Bill And Barn has plenty to do returning after 576 days off against a useful trio of opponents.
