Verdict

Lombok's run at Towcester will have blown away a few cobwebs but he doesn't win as often as he should. Wilde Ruby was only beaten a short-head at Exeter last month and should again take care of third Le Grand Chene, while Aughcarra and What's For Tea have the past form to figure. CAUNAY, successful over C&D in the autumn, should be cherry-ripe now after runs at Newton Abbot and Wincanton and is probably the one to beat on his third to Water Garden at the latter track in December.
