Verdict
Herecomestanley may well have a 7lb penalty to carry for his comfortable Uttoxeter success last time but is set to go up another 3lbs in future handicaps and is taken to make the most of his current form and complete a four timer at the main expense of Just Reuben and Ebony Jack. The last mentioned ran with credit when last seen at Chepstow in April and would have claims if fit enough for his reappearance. Deferlant is hard to back with any great confidence on the evidence of last season's form but his yard has been in good order of late so he may do better than expected, while Rufius has given little cause for optimism of late and is hard to recommend. Just Reuben is probably flattered by his margin of success at Wincanton last time and a better bet looks to be Herecomestanley, who gets the vote to win again.
