In depth
Verdict
The suggestion in an intriguing heat is Mystical Star. The selection has only one win to his name over fences so we cannot go overboard about his chances but he's a course specialist who looks well handicapped following his return to form here last time. Go Johnny Go hasn't shown a great deal over hurdles but starts his chasing career at a realistic level and could go well. Double Mead has been in better form over timber but may find this trip on the short side as she makes her debut over birch. Romany Dream is at the other end of the spectrum as this will be her fifty first race over fences; she's won six times and couldn't be ruled out. Vibe hasn't shown a great deal but may be best caught fresh with Cusp another that is hard to predict but capable on her day. So, the majority of the field are of some interest but we'll take Mythical Star to record a popular success.
