      Verdict

      The front-running MORESTEAD is so inconsistent that the handicapper finds it difficult to nail him down. He's always capable of popping up in a race like this and is preferred to Osmosia. Chris Gordon's mare is well treated on her best form but is another that's difficult to catch right and she hasn't won over fences for three years. River D'Or needs to get back to his best, lacks a recent run and probably needs further while Bally Gunner is also best watched at present. Trakeur races from 8lb out of the handicap.
