In depth
Verdict
Though 12, Whatthebutlersaw can still hold his own at this level but did finish behind Distingo here two runs ago. Nikki Steel returned from a very long absence to win at Chepstow when a 33/1 chance but Percy Street generally flatters to deceive nowadays. Mystic Court appears to be in the form of his life but he will have to defy a further 12lb rise to complete the hat-trick and has done all of his winning in Class 5 races. ROOKIE TRAINER didn’t stay 3m1f at Plumpton on his first run following a wind operation but there was sufficient promise shown to suggest he is capable of adding to his course and distance victory in the autumn. Alrightjack should also be thereabouts if fully wound-up.
