Verdict

NOT A ROLE MODEL is clearly going to make a better chaser than hurdler as he only found one too good on his fencing bow at Stratford before going one better at Kempton. He’s been raised 6lb but Richard Patrick’s claim takes care of most of that so a follow-up looks on the cards. Innocent Girl will be all the better for her run at Exeter but she still looks a few pounds too high. Brown Bear is still 5lb higher than when last successful over fences but he’s rated much higher over hurdles so makes more appeal than I See You Well, According To Harry and No Buts. Highbury High was struggling when last seen.
