In depth

Verdict

It's almost a year since There And Then won on his debut at Southwell and he might struggle here under a penalty, even though this looks a relatively low-key finale. Tenby Jewel was second at Ffos Las in November and Brass Tax won a point-to-point in May, while Ice 'N' Easy showed a little promise when fourth at Folkestone. Oscar The Myth looks the pick of the newcomers on breeding but this contest could be ripe for a surprise result so PSYCHOSIS is the selection. She's related to several late-developing NH types and wasn't entirely disgraced when racing wide throughout on her introduction at Towcester - Brendan Powell's mare will know more now.
