Verdict

Not much in the way of form to go on and, as ever in this type of event, the matrket may provide the best clues. However, Martin Pipe's Irish import shaped with ability on his sole start to date and should not lack for fitness despite a year's absence. The Lyme Volunteer and Johann De Vonnas are both capable of further progress while Robert Buckler's Atalanta Surprise, a gelding by Phardante, is worth looking out for in the market.
