Verdict
Ennistown is eased further in the weights but hasn’t won over hurdles since 2018. We’re loathe to desert GOOD NEWS (NAP), who is on a roll and may still be a step ahead of the handicapper. Thunderstruck, a course and distance winner, is unlikely to be far away but he still looks to be in the assessor’s grip while Shoal Bay is difficult to recommend with any confidence given his recent record. Sammylou might just need this but his stable can do little wrong at present.
