In depth

Verdict

Concert Pianist and Wild Spice have very strong claims here but we will side with Garolsa. Colin Tizzard's top-weight has disappointed on his last two outings but there were valid excuses. His previous form, including an excellent third to Inca Trail, is of a pretty decent standard and a big run can be expected with ground conditions more to his liking.Concert Pianist does put in the odd dodgy jump but managed to finish a four length second behind Whitford Don last time and should be capable of getting a place. Meanwhile Wild Spice is from a yard in great form and looks well treated on the pick of his form. Of the others Mulligatawny is capable of going well at a big price, but for the winner we return to Garolsa.
