Gary Moore won this race last year and sends out Equilibria and Maximix this time, but we prefer the claims of GOLDEN FEATHER. Evan Williams can do little wrong at the moment, and although his entry is joint top weight, he has the ability to land this. His last couple of runs have been disappointing; when chasing a hat-trick he unshipped the jockey and then last time out was given too much to do after too patient a ride. Closer to the pace this time could see him back in the winners' enclosure. The Moore duo are likely to be supported at one of his local tracks. Judging by the fact that Jamie's on Equlibria that may be the pick ahead of Maximix. King Gabriel has the highly rated Edward Cookson aboard, and goes unpenalised for their last success as it was a conditionals race, and he seems very well treated. To land the finale though, we'll be siding with Golden Feather.
