In depth
Verdict
Tina's Indian won on the Flat at Brighton in May but has done little over hurdles. The Car Chaser showed promise in a couple of bumpers and it is curious to see him start off over hurdles in a claimer. Moving Earth is in the last-chance saloon after refusing to race too many times. Enigmatic but fairly talented seems to suit him as a description. Honourable Chief is blinkered for the first time here but has not shown too much in the way of form, and he finished well behind Capriolo last time (in a Plumpton claimer). Capriolo should be in the shake-up here, as should Jonjo O'Neill's runner, Zurs, who comes out best on official ratings. Course winner Sungio is interesting, not least because Mick Fitzgerald has been booked to ride. Haafel won here a year ago and had a pipe-opener on the Flat recently. Irish import - and making his British debut today - Louises Glory, won at Punchestown in January while Martin Pipe and Tony McCoy are represented by Delaware, one of the top three in terms of official ratings and has to show up well. Bhutan, also among the best three in the ratings, won this race last year and Mrs Reveley would hardly send him all the way down from Saltburn just for the sea air. On that basis, he gets the TEAMtalk vote.
