Verdict

Another race that looks a virtual match on paper. It could be a hat-trick for Paul Nicholls and Lorcan Williams as DANSE IDOL has been holding her own in strong company since she won a Wincanton maiden in December. She is getting 14lb from likely market rival Double Treasure and may also enjoy a fitness advantage over Jamie Snowden’s gelding, who has done well since reverting to hurdles but was pulled up when last seen in a Grade 2 at Cheltenham in November which hasn’t really worked out. The remainder should be playing for places.
