Verdict
Grandioso looked like winning easily at Southwell on Tuesday evening but had to be driven out in the end to score. That wasn't the ideal preparation for this more competitive affair and he is conceding weight all round. PLAY THE ACE has won six times between the flags and was having only his second start under Rules when landing a novices' event at Sedgefield last month. He needs more but improvement should be forthcoming and he could be the value. Daidaidai is another with plenty of scope but Joker Choker returns to the track after almost a year on the sidelines.
