Verdict

It was disappointing that EMPEROR CONCERTO didn't fare better when well backed at Fakenham but that run may have brought him to concert pitch and Lucy Wadham's second season chaser has more than enough scope to land a race of this nature. Mtpockets receives plenty of weight from the selection and the experienced pointer is a fascinating runner as he has yet to jump a regulation fence in public but dotted up over hurdles last time. Peut Etre Sivola is likely to have been well primed in his attempt to follow up last season's success in this race and it would be no surprise to see him reverse Stratford form with Runshan who finished 25 lengths to the good on that occasion. This test should suit Bench Warrent down to the ground and his weight may not prevent him from going close whilst Kawagino has been reinvented as a stayer in recent seasons and can play his part.
