In depth

Verdict

Anthony Honeyball has been keen to run SOLSTICE SON under a penalty after he scored impressively when upped in trip at Plumpton on Monday. He was withdrawn from a similar race at Towcester on Thursday but should take his chance here and can outclass these. Strange Bird went up 16lb after winning easily at Plumpton last month but still looks the danger to the selection as Absolute Shambles might need this after a few months off. Marmalade Man is likely to be suited by the longer trip and looks the pick of the remainder ahead of Leith Hill Legasi.
