Verdict

Upton Mead was always struggling when only fifth at Plumpton on Sunday while Inner Steel keeps finding one too good and has been raised another 2lb since his latest run, also at Plumpton. PRINCELY HERO is a regular around the southern tracks and won over hurdles, again at Plumpton, last month off a 3lb higher mark. Clearly, he's going to take all the beating if transferring that form back to chasing. Morestead and Lajidaal are both a little quirky but capable in this grade on their day and much preferred to the disappointing Owner Occupier.
