In depth

Verdict

In a low grade handicap chase NORMANDY LANDINGS looks open to loads of improvement so gets the nod ahead of Honour's Dream and Kappelhoff. Having been close in two of his four chase starts the selection looks the type to improve with time so with this step up in trip looking a plus he has every chance in a race that won't take much winning. Honour's Dream is yet to score over the big stuff but did only find the one to good at this venue two starts back before filling the same position at Plumpton last time. It's another quick turnaround for him but if still on song he should go well. Kappelhoff hasn't always been the most trustworthy but as a bit of a course specialist he makes our list along with Killfinnan Castle who still might be weight to confirm superirity over the one we've just mentioned. It's not a strong contest so we'll go for potential in siding with Normandy Landings.
