Verdict
Cork Harbour, a winner in similar company at Market Rasen in October, should be spot on a after a couple of recent outings and may have too much class for his rivals the pick of which look to be Sweetwater and Blue Streak. The last mentioned has given little sign of encouragement of late but has slipped to an attractive mark and Gary Moore has booked Tony McCoy for the ride which has to be a positive. Droumleigh Lad has claims on his best but is none too consistent and of more interest may be Sweetwater. Three times a winner on the flat in France, Martin Pipe's filly has yet to show any worthwhile form over timber in this country but starts her career in handicaps on a lowly mark and, given her connections, has to be respected. Stablemate Clayphento showed her first glimmer of ability at Newton Abbot last time and cannot be ruled out entirely. Neither Gate Expectations nor Come Bye make much appeal in a race that is taken to go to Cork Harbour who is expected to strip fitter today.
