In depth

Verdict

GENERAL GINGER has been impressive in wins at Kempton and Newton Abbot and may be capable of giving away the weight to the dual bumper winner Board Of Trade, who makes his hurdling debut after a break. The latter should be one to follow this season, however, and makes more appeal than April's Newton Abbot winner Take A Break and Flat convert Hallingham. Mr Mix is interesting as he was third in a Listed contest at Auteuil just over a year ago and has more scope than Iniesta and Red Devil Star.
