In depth

Verdict

Not a race to get carried away with however nothing comes here in better form than Cleymor House and we fancy him to win again, at the main expense of Cadoulitique and Sole Agent. Allison Thorpe remains a trainer to keep on the right side of and following wins at Hereford and here (twice) on varying ground, the progressive ten-year-old is fancied to achieve his fourth successive win. He is shooting up the weights quickly but still appears to be ahead of the handicapper. Connections try the headgear for the first time on Cadoulitique and whilst he still has stamina to prove, he shouldn't be underestimated. The Hardy Boy is hard to fancy away from Plumpton where he does all his winning, whilst Adecco and Sole Agent give Gary Moore a strong-looking hand. Spring Lover needs to bounce back to form, whilst My World and Magot De Grugy also need to return to previous form, and if they did then they would be major players. A bit more open than it looks, but Cleymor House is still the one to beat.
