      Leading Optimist Drops back in trip here, but he is at the top of his game at present and although 12lb higher in the ratings than his last win, he may still have too much in-hand of his rivals here.

      Fountain Bank (IRE) Faded in the closing stages over a furlong shorter trip at Plumpton last week, and looks to be on a stiffish mark at present. Best watched.

      Gun Shot Another who comes here in top form, but she may be less suited by the drop in trip than Leading Optimist and will need to be on song to land the hat-trick against that one.

      Mister Ermyn A notoriously difficult ride and he has his own ideas about the game, and although not without ability he looks one to swerve at present.

      Caledonian Express No doubts about her stamina, but she has a little to prove from out of the Handicap here.
