Verdict
Dusty Too and Supreme Serenade look to be the main protagonists in this Novices' Hurdle, and Dusty Too is our tentative choice. The 6-year-old could not be in better form and he made all to beat Gold Menelek at Plumpton last time. He is returning from a short break here and with conditions in his favour he looks the one to beat. Supreme Serenade was a beaten favourite when third behind Copsale Lad at Exeter last time, but he had previously won well at Folkestone, so has fairly obvious claims here. The rest look to be fighting it out for place money here and it might be worth siding with Wimbledonian who was a beaten favourite in a National Hunt flat race at Hereford on her racecourse debut. She is clearly well-regarded and with Richard Johnson in the plate she could go well. Confidence for this filly would be fuelled if she is supported in the market, but for the winner, we return to the in-form Dusty Too.
