In depth

Verdict

Swainson opened his account over fences at this track last month but his earlier failures in today's grade raise doubts about his ability to follow up. In contrast, Quel Bruere has twice gone close in similar company including at Huntingdon last time and he can figure, but Massini Sunset has lost his way since landing a double last month and the jury is out on him for now. PETE THE FEAT is showing good progress and won for the second time in three starts over fences at Folkestone last month with today's rival Oncle Kid well behind. He looks capable of going in again off a 4lb higher mark.
