Verdict

Black Cow has his first run for Chris Gordon having left Paul Nicholls. He's proved expensive to follow so far but Vedani was third here in June off today's mark while Marju's Quest has shown enough to suggest he can find a small race somewhere. He makes more appeal than the other four-year-old, Hermosa Vaquera. WORKBENCH is often keen but he bolted up over fences at Huntingdon on bank holiday Monday and races off the same mark here - he'll be tough to peg back.
