Verdict

HERE’S HERBIE is in the veteran stage now but two runs around the turn of the year suggest he’s dropped to a fair mark and he might be the answer to this. Whatthebutlersaw is only a year younger but is also starting to look well treated. Distingo pops up now and again and he’s had three runs on the all-weather since last seen over timber while a step up in trip will almost certainly suit the maiden Jersey Wonder, who won over 2m on Polytrack. Game Socks was raised 7lb for winning a Plumpton maiden and has been unable to cope.
