Verdict

With neither trip nor going ideal, Najca De Thaix looks one to oppose on his first start after refusing to race over hurdles at Chepstow in February. She's Humble reserves her best for Plumpton and her trainer is horribly out of form, but Good Old Days is only 3lb higher than when winning this 12 months ago and should go well again. Carrig An Uisce and The Hardy Boy may prefer softer ground, however, while Play A Cord returns from a lay-off but KING OF LEON was on course for an easy win at Plumpton last month until falling two out. A clear round here should see him in the winner's circle for the first time over fences.
