In depth

Verdict

Jessica Harrington has won two of the last three renewals and Gon On Murt will make a bold bid to defy a big leap in the weights to make it three. He's won his last two in fine style at Dundalk which has resulted in a 13lb rise but looks capable of scoring from higher marks than this. However, yet another Dermot Weld inmate looks to have been laid out and DIPLOMAT can get n the scoresheet for the first time. He showed real promise in his three starts over this trip so it shouldn't have been a surprise when he ran moderately over 6f at Fairyhouse. Back over a mile here and racing with a lowly weights he looks the one to be on. Loreto enjoyed the heavy ground at Naas but there's no reason to believe she won't act on quicker going and along with Suehail can get competitive in an open handicap.
