Verdict

SHARJAH, six-times a Grade 1 winner over timber, makes a belated entry to the ranks of chasers and should prove in a different class to these rivals. He's rated 24lb clear of Mars Harper over timber but the latter has had plenty of experience over fences having been placed at Grade 2 level. He looks next best though Walnut Beach has run very well in his two starts over the bigger obstacles and was placed on the Flat last month. Flaming Moon won a Listed novices' hurdle here a year ago and makes his chasing debut.
