Verdict

Henry De Bromhead has won the last two including last year with RIVIERA SUN, who has been lightly-raced subsequently and is just 4lb higher. Barry Geraghty is reunited with the nine-year-old and the partnership can prevail again. The stable also run A Rated and Attribution with preference for the latter, who will appreciate the easier ground conditions. Vieux Morvan, runner-up in a Grade A handicap at Leopardstown in February on just his second start since arriving from France, ran poorly over hurdles at Killarney last month though that was probably a warm-up for this. Spider Web won a couple of Leopardstown handicaps on soft ground over the winter so conditions will be in his favour while the consistent Fenlon's Hill is at the right end of the handicap and his rider's claim is a bonus. A Sizing Network has been racing on ground too quick and is better judged on his excellent form in softer conditions last autumn when completing a double.
