    In depth

Paul Townend is reunited with CABLE (NAP) for the first time since Stephen Mahon's four-year-old finished second to Muthaza at the Festival here in July. A repeat of that form would be good enough today. Mr Antolini, who won a bumper in March, has yet to finish out of the frame in three starts over hurdles and should keep up that record in this. Wingoldandwearit already has a fourth to his name over timber and is open to improvement. Allduckornodinner and Charlie Stout have hinted at ability but San Calista may need more time.

Allduckornodinner (IRE) 20-1 (12-0) Prominent, led over 5f out, soon joined, headed 3f out and one pace, 6th of 12, 21l behind Stolen Diamond (12-0) at Bellewstown 2m 1f gd in Aug.

Ceide Fields 16-1 (12-0) Tracked leaders, 8th approaching halfway, pushed along under 5f out, under pressure 4f out, soon no impression, weakened, completely tailed off, 11th of 13, at Thurles 2m Yielding in Mar.

Charlie Stout (IRE) 16-1 (11-4) Held up towards rear, hampered 5th, moderate 8th next, ridden in 7th and no impression before 2 out, no extra after 2 out, weakened, 5th of 13, 32 1/4l behind Highway Royal (11-2) at Ballinrobe 2m mdn Yielding in Aug.
